I wonder if the Japs that bombed Pearl Harbor, or the ones that led the Bataan death march struggled with the morality of what they did? My father was 78th fighter Squadron, his aircraft escorted the B-24 bombers to Japan and back.

We as Americans aren't getting the full story. The Ukraine has even the biden family $1,000,000 a year for consulting. There's definitely a bigger picture than "Putin is just trying to take over Ukraine". Whatever you find in the media, regardless of the source, its a biased view and you have to look deeper to find out what's really going on.

Lift cost varies. As the well gets depleted the costs go up. Wells are shut down when the lift costs get too high. When the price of oil goes up then people can afford to go back and pump out of those shut down wells.
There is even a company that buys those wells and runs methane harvested in swamps to the well in order to lower the cost of getting the rest of the oil in these wells.
