I'm playing Susie Homemaker today at work. The lumber market has dropped down a little again and very few people are buying right now. Today, to combat my boredom, I brought some scraps from an old pair of camo pants, a sewing kit and some poly beads to make a shooting bag or two. I'm almost half-way done with the first one. I'll post some pics when I get finished.

I think you misunderstood me when I said "shooting bag." I'm talking about a little bag filled with sand, beads, etc. to prop up the rear of a rifle when I'm shooting it with a bipod.

I think that you have a future in making redneck hacky sacks... :mullet:

on a serious note though, you did a much better job than I could have at that... and you must be incredibly bored at work.

it's bigger than it looks.... :eyebrows:

I have been bored. Only one call all morning. I'm going to make a bean bag sized one next. Much flatter.

I had a crappy day at work today, I am working in Long Island, NY on a high profile EPA job at and old AEC site (Atomic Energy Commission) where they manufactured and stored Nuclear fuel rods. Back in the 60's there was a heavy water release. They have been cleaning up and monitoring the place ever since for Uranium, Thorium and Thallium that is in the soil and groundwater. Today I was sampling a groundwater monitoring well, that has a depth of 460 feet, Our company installed the well in 2007 at a cost of around 50K, well, I dropped the pump down the well. So unless this pump can be retrieved, this well will be useless to us and our sampling efforts and more the likely have to be redrilled. Tomorrow will be an interesting day. Phuck

You should "accidentally" trip people who do that. It sure wouldn't take much.

The local cops love sagging pants, makes em easier to catch. On another note, today should be great. Took off today to have a father/daughter day before school starts.

I'm excited! Next week I'm going to re-acquire a rifle that has sentimental value to me. I sold it over a year and a half ago and and I semi-regretted it since then.

I'll post pictures and tell the story on a new thread when I get it back, but here is a sneak peak.

Quite a bit of traffic here this morning. I know it has been raining cats and dogs this morning where I am, so maybe that's the reason?
