They are an incredibly talented local band, with an album available on itunes, and a video for their song "The Human Race" on YouTube.
These guys ARE progressive metal, for any fans of the genre. I listened before I read any reviews, and I heard influences from Queensryche, Dream Theater, and an obscure favorite of mine, Fates Warning. They tell a story with their album, "Our Own Devices', as Prog-Metal bands are known to do. These guys are not Geoff Tate clones, nor do they throw out too many intellectual lyrics in a 4 minute song..(Dream Theater?). They tell a story with songs, and it works.
They were introduced at the ProgPower progressive metal festival in Atlanta this year, and there is talk of a European tour in 2014.
Give them a listen!
