Yeah, Rollin', but I relate more to "Nookie". It speaks to me. Apparently myself and Mr. Fred Durst have both experienced the "All about the he said she said .....,........ bullshit".:frusty::whistle:

Oops, wrong song reference. Typing on my tractor.

"I did it all for the nookie".

"Monster" by Steppenwolf from 1969 gets my blood flowing. The song speaks of America and the changes our country has survived. It also hints of where we are headed. If you like this song you may also want to listen to their song called "Renegade"....and they tell me the public coast is full of amber; and the land was green....before the tanks came.

Ah yes, Stepppenwolfe. Loved them growing up but a lot of songs from that era tend to bring me down. Bad times in my family and had a few cousins that didn't come home from Viet Nam.

Another band that's been around that I loved, then hated, then love again is ZZ Top. The very early years were awesome. Then, they went techno-pop in the 80s and I was pissed at the sellout, though I understand from the financial angle. Here recently they're doing a lot of live Blues and they sound fantadtic again.

I'm not even sure I could name an iron maiden song! Never really cared for them even though they're one of the greats

Excellent choices John! I love Top's early stuff and some of the stuff they're doing in clubs nowadays. I didn't care for their 80's-90's period. They're best when they're raw.
