In the truck: Sirius, usually on Bluesville.

In the house when momma ain't home, hard, heavy, driving, thumping and sick guitar.

I have nothing against any genre of music, you like what you like. Experts say you form your musical taste by 10-12 years old and it generally stays with you. I don't know what that means for me though my mom leaned to heavier stuff. That or the loud, hard stuff keeps the voices in my head drowned out.:dizzy:

I am a little older than you I think - not much but a little (hints Medicare eligible and SS eligible in a couple months). The last thing I want is to listen to is some one yacking along while I am driving when I can enjoy the quiet.

On the occasion that I listen to something other than music on sat radio it's Andrew Wilkow. He beats up loonie lefties better than even Rush. He grew up with the younger generation so he knows how to spank the Obama set better than anyone.

    Sean,
You may be right about the age....I was going to argue but then I looked at the best 150 hits from the 50s and I was surprised how many there were that I really enjoyed then and now. Agree, I don't care what or when you listen to music as long as it is not intruding on me. Can't stand it when someone comes up beside me and shocks my heart with over amped bass

This whole series is amazing, but here are two of the ones I enjoy the most:

Smith and Myers (Shinedown) - Sitting on the Dock of the Bay (Cover of Otis Redding)

Smith and Myers (Shinedown) - Blue on Black (Cover of Kenny Wayne Shepard)

The singer of shinedown is pretty damn good. I like a lot of the covers and acoustic stuff they do.

If you like Blues, check out Betsy Badwater. Local gal singing it!

I have a wide range of music I like, and at times can shock the "young uns" with my taste. Lenoard Cohen to HELLYEAH about sums it up! Latest group I have followed since they started releasing is Cage The Elephant.

    Rock On!
