Didn't say anything about consuming it, it's about making it..
People make dinner don't they? Now, I'm not talking about selling it, which they may be able to tax.

We don't have an enumerated "right" to pies, but no one questions our freedom to bake one. They don't have to be bought at a government-approved outlet : )

    Fellas……it’s all for personal use.
Did I not make that clear?
And personal use (consumption) is (still) legal.

Go tell the guys making meth what you said about see how it holds up in court haha.

Trust me I'm right there with you.. thing is alcohol is a "controlled" substance. As mentioned the powers at be aren't getting their tax cut out of it that's why it's illegal to make.
Yep... the difference between how it is, and how it should be. You may actually have the right, but you can still be thrown in jail for exercising it, just like when carrying a firearm on your own property:

Though I've been thinking: Can you name other things that are legal to possess, but illegal for you to make? I'm honestly drawing a blank...

I put it in quotes for a reason, when you figure out why you'll see what I mean.

I'll give you a hint, my post literally explained it and others mentioned the same...
Aha! But STILL (pun intended), you can't tax something that isn't sold ! : )

Indeed why "they" don't want it even made.

Does bring up a good one to ponder, beer is legal to make but not liquor..
And again, since it is not a controlled substance, what else is legal to possess... with no special "permission slip" from the government required... but illegal to make for personal use? I can't think of anything...
