    May want to do a google search about guide rods, I remember seeing pictures and reading accounts of stainless rods wearing the slide into a oblong/figure 8.

    i have used bicycle tire inner tubes with great result before. 1 tube will do replacement grips for years!

    Picked this up, kinda looks like a Chinese fire drill to use though. Weapon fits in it good, and has two spare mag pouches.

    Picked up another belt slide bikini type, smaller than the other one I had, wearing it iwb, dont think I like it. Owb it's great but dosent protect the barrel/slide from wacks.
    Spoiled from too many years of pocket carry, but if your in a seated position forget about getting to it. I have a shoulder rig
    vertical and an ankle rig still from my Bersa, but those are a nuisance too. I'll figure something out. So far the fobus is the most comfortable but bulky.
