FS . . . I would agree with your above but would like to input one thought.
The pic shows a NAA revo that is old and well worn. This tells me that it has been carried for MANY hours, days, and years. That is a good thing right. A great alternative to not having a firearm al all.
Sure . . . there are better picks but there are worse also. ( As in NONE) --- SAWMAN

Went and shot 250 rds. Hands are sore. Had to go find my gloves. Shot brass, steel and aluminum cased ammo. 0 issues, until about 180 rds very dirty, a few ftes. Like 3. Accuracy is outstanding. I was impressed. Shot at 25 yards then 7 yards. Trigger pull is long. Like revolver long, and long reset. Its alot like a revolver, the hammer moves to the rear and you can "stage" it.
It does not have double strike capability, if there was a primer issue it's only fixed by cycling the slide.
The mag catch issue straightened it self out. No issue. Getting some wear on the top of the high spot in the reciever area of the barrel where it presses against the slide on recoil. Sights are dead on, no adjustment needed. Very pleased with my new carry pistol.

Clean and inspect. Not much to it. Disassembled sort of like a 1911. Did notice the recoil spring is a double spring. No abnormal wear as far as I could tell.

if i might make a suggestion, federal 135gr hydra-shock or speer 125+p for carry needs. both have proven reliable, and expand through the FBI protocols. i happen to love barns tac-xpd 115gr +p but lots of people poo-poo lighter weights in 9mm. if you want some real snap, winchester ranger 124gr +P+. even in my buddies issued G34 its snappy to say the least.

+P is not a good idea for a PF9 as has been discussed. I shoot federal +P+, but in a glock. Believe it or not a standard pressure 115 grain 9x19 will stop an attack if you do your part of it.

At some point the laws of deminishing returns take effect.
More power + more velocity + more overpressure + bigger fire ball (especially during the periods of deminishing light and total darkness . . and remember this does not have to be "at night") ='s slower back on target for more hits.
This is why I used to teach, for a 5shot revo none of that silly +P+++++++,etc stuff. Standard pressure 148 or 158gr wadcutter is all that's needed.
    And them 15oz snubby's shooting full power 357Mag . . ??? . . YEAH,RIGHT !! ---- SAWMAN

That’s exactly why my pocket gun isn’t loaded with 125 grain 357s , it’s uncomfortable with 38+p ammo and damn near unbearable with the 357s.

Have one in green myself, nice pistol.
I'm one of those that suggests 5 extra mags for any regularly used pistol.

Also the Keltec Clip-on attachment is a LOVELY addition :)

I saw that clip. We had a thread about them awhile back. Seemed like most folks dont like em. Ill read up on it. Well I got 2 mags with it, may get more for rotation.

I like the clip, but I also use knives with a similar clip daily, so I'm used to the mechanics.
Probably the most important thing is to not have anything else in that pocket with it.
Altho using Starch on a carry pocket is encouraged to retain shape.

I put something on to guard the trigger. I have had clip draws after a lot of use snap on my G33. I use to put it on my belt with zak trigger holster over the trigger and that trigger guard tied to the belt. Less printing and absolutely safe compared to carry without that trigger being blocked. Now days I use a holster.

:) also trying a bikini type belt slide holster. (Clam shell) No retention strap though. Trigger is covered. Liking the pf9. So light you forget its there.

Tried the bikini holster, works but exposes the barrel to bumps and knocks moving, working. Had a fobus paddle for my 1911. Fits like a glove and clicks in, could even adjust tension. Also protects the barrel. Cool huh? Who would have thought a 1911 holster would fit it?

    20200224_153847.jpg

Also saw a +1 extension for the mags.

Supposingly their spring set #20 helps with the recoil and flip. The stainless guide rod just makes sense. Do I need it? Probably not. I dont think I would like the trigger, 1.5lb just sounds like a bad idea.( on my cc) I personally like the revolverish trigger. (5.?lbs). Blew up a dillo last night at 20+ feet so it works.
