Just got an Ascend FS12T last Saturday and took it out to the bay on Sunday. The waves were rough but it is very stable. I can bring my 48qt cooler and all the gear I want on it. I was able to throw my bait net but never got to try my 12ft mullet net.

I just picked up one of these at Wally World this morning. Seemed like a pretty good deal for $188 + tax. I've always had sit-on-top kayaks and this will be the first sit-in version. I'll just need to learn how to get my old ass into this yak without hurting myself or looking like a fool.

Libatarian. . . voted for Bernie until Schultz and Brazil told him not to.
Then . . . was a $25. contributor to the Hilary campaign. When she started loosing went to Canada. Attended a "cry-in" in Quebec the night she lost. Has been undergoing therapy ever since. The therapist suggested he get active,get a sport. Kayaking was waaay too both mentally and physically challengeing for him.
Was finally saved from certain death by his 8 year old sister.
Will be sueing the therapist. --- SAWMAN

Got a question for you. Do you think Bottle Creek is deep enough for my Gheenoe with 9.9 Evinrude to get to the trailhead to the Mounds.
Was thinking about putting in at Lower Bryant Landing next week and head to see
Mounds for myself.

I'm no expert, but I think you will be fine in Bottle Creek. I know that large tour boat that bring groups to the mounds use bottle creek.
