Originally had cheesy aftermarket Z06 wheels, sold them and found factory mags for $300, wanted the polished aluminum like the sticker but couldn't resist the price.

My group has been absent because of the chicom cooties but they are planning another run in May. Usually around 20-25 Corvettes and hit all the good roads then onward to the Mothership (Corvette museum). LMK if you want to attend I'll hook up you with the group.
I'd take them over the stock C5 ones. That's a good bit of cars. I went with a few of the Gulf Coast Corvettes crew in Sept of 2020. Yea the WuFlu put a damper on that too...

Atomic orange. CCW wheels. I bought the car in 19. All the wheels were curbed. So I liked them enough that I had them refinished. Got it looking good under hood and underneath. Also some custom goodies inside. 3 inch corsa exhaust system with Kooks long tube headers. No cats. Lots of little mods along with the Magnuson S/C. I remember you were looking for a project a couple of years ago. Did you find one. I have a buddy who has one. I think an 89 model. I believe all he really wants is the tuneport, hardware and the 700r4. He might sell the roller if you're looking.
    Good luck
    Be safe phil

Well, that changes the equation a good bit. I don't know of any sports car that you guys would be comfortable in. If you ain't comfy, don't spend the money! The pick up is beginning to make sense now.
I'm 6'1" and 230. I am comfy after I bend down low enough to get in

    Randomly perusing Craigslist.

Saw this ’93 Corvette for $5000. Not mine. No idea about the listing. Just seemed fairly inexpensive. If any of you buy it, let us know what the “catch” is.

Thirty years of corvettes new and used ,I raced them all my last being a new 07 Z06 put 50 k on it before I totaled it [my fault]. It was time for this old guy to slow down so I bought a new porsche ....what was i thinking but i sure got my wish to slow down. I miss the brut torque but the roads are so much safer now BTW porsche oil changes/service are 750.00 at the dealer.

I tell ya brother, you know I've had the fever a while but it just went from a manageable fever to major heartburn..... minor gear shifting & vibrations in accelerating in my '15 C7 have resulted in a busted torque tube & a 3.7k-5k repair bill.... chevy couldn't fix that damn problem so they just moved the motor to the back...

    I have one, 02 C5Z06 with mods.

There's like 5 of these in Crestview with this color and I have a buddy who has an 03 in Fort Walton. Always see the guys in Crestview driving by haven't been able to catch any in person stopped.

Have always longed for a '62. I'm a Buzz and Todd guy. Every now and then one come up on Bring a Trailer and I think to myself: if........ Then reality hits me in the face and I say to myself at your age getting in and out will be a problem. So, I just dream.

Not many of these falcons left....cool little ride.
Sold my 65 Falcon to a friend when I got to disabled to finish it. He’s stripped it down and is completely rebuilding it.
