Want to order about 10 poly new frontier lowers, problem is they only cost 22.50 each. Trying to work deal with local ffl, to get a cheaper transfer. Transfer fee is more than the lowers, lol. (23)Not to mention poly lpks are 35...

I haven't seen any of the latest poly lowers but the original NFAs came with poly FCG and takedown pins. The trigger was actually pretty decent in the few I shot and they were a great option for a cheap 22 build. No idea on they would hold up over the long run but I never had an issue with the ones I tried.

For all the guys that are trying to figure out how to get a cheaper transfer. It's pretty easy to get a FFL but depends a lot on zoning and county rules. It'll give you a new outlook on customer relations and trying to make enough money on a transfer to make it worth your time. I'd be happy to talk you through what I did to get mine and some other things to consider before you decide to follow through.

I have a hard time imagining that poly would be acceptable material for a hammer and sear, ref. feel or longevity

Ati sells the omni series, all poly, upper/lower, hammer, trigger. Had one only had about 300 rds 300bo. No issues, no visible wear. Time will tell.Ymmv

Got one of those. Looking at it though, hammers coated but definitely metal , safe bet trigger is too from feel of it.
