Thank you. Your explanation was good enough, but the video was even better.

I've never thought this time/effort/cost effective, but as everyone knows, it's a new world as far as ammo pricing.

Will a Lee 3 Hole Turret press load .308 or is it a pistol only press?

It should load 308 with no problems, but the classic turret is stronger much stronger than the cheaper turret press. The base is cast iron instead of cast aluminum. The handle is also steel instead of aluminum.

True statement. When small volume precision is the goal a single stage O ring framed press preferably cast iron with tight tolerance is the way to go. Redding, Forster,Dillon or RCBS come to mind. For plinking and general purpose ammo the cast turrets work. Personal preference.

For supplies locally, I use a mix of Ubers, Styx and Bass Pro and sometimes Ammo Supply. They all have pros and cons. Ubers is usually where I have the best luck for powder and primers.

Where is the best (non internet) local place to buy reloading supplies?

Bass Pro, Gold Mine and Styx are the best places I've seen in Baldwin County. Powder and primers (and occasionally bullets) are generally the only thing I get locally. Typically equipment is much cheaper online.

The Lee single stage kit is on sale at Midway. Only $115, I just ordered mine on Friday.
