I don't like the price either, but I overpaid for a few things in my few years of buying gun things. Lessons learned. The last election taught me a lot- I moved from Wisconsin to Florida (as Conservative as I could find) and started saving up ammo when the price was cheep. Ran into issues when my ex left, but by next election, I should be in a much better position.Absolutely ridiculous. So ridicule him, not encourage it
Come over here. Will go to the range so you can burn up some ammo.
Night hunt . . ? . . you can scan for me with my hand held. Will get you out of the house. Bring a cooler for some backstrap ??
Just like old times. Remember this one ?? The hoist had all it could do to get him up. ---- SAWMAN View attachment 90929
What I find funny is everyone saying oh its market price. No its gougers price
Academy hasn't gone up in price , they've gone down in availability and if you see my prior comment therein lies the problem. The yayhos who go around and flip the ammo for a profit which if I recall isnt that illegal besides being a crappy person in general. And hate to remind folks, but I've stocked up fairly well beyond what a lot of folks are able to , a lot of folks aren't able to sustain the level of stockpile plus being able to actually go to the range and train.
You're of course welcome to your opinion, and some probably agree, but I for one don't think of folks as "yayhos" or "a crappy person in general" for offering the ammo for sale, regardless of the price. No one is forcing another person to buy it, and if they do, that's their business. If you are stocked up and feel the haves should be helping the have nots, I'm sure some folks will appreciate your offer to sell some of your stash at Academy prices. JMO and YMMV.What I find funny is everyone saying oh its market price. No its gougers price

Technically its not gouging. In 1980 the USD $ was worth way more. If you factor inflation and devaluation. 5k is about right. In 87 I was banging out a whopping 3.65 an hour and thought I was king $hit.Question - - -> if I bought gold, silver,or a '67 Corvette way back when,do you expect me to sell it to you for the same price that I paid for it ?? How about a HK91 that I bought in 1980 for $680.00 ?? If I don't sell it to you for that same $680.00 am I a "gouger" or a "crappy person in general" ??
See my point ?? ---- SAWMAN
