Sounds like a plan to me. When I die it won’t be because I starved to death or ran out of ammunition. However my empathy for foolIsh people is running a little low.

You're not wrong. I got thousands of rounds per caliber with the ability to reload thousands more. I've prepped over the past 10 years for this kind of shit. I'll keep buying when the price is right. Hell, I'll overpay at some times just to not get into my stash, but I'll always have some on hand. I paid almost double price for some small rifle primers the other day just to not get into my stash. It was only 400 of them, but still. My stash stays untouched no matter what.

I bought a 500 round box of Winchester 9mm at Academy Sports on Sunday for $105 plus tax. Get there when they open or you won’t get any.

Unless you just want them to have a "keepsake", it makes no sense to Will/pass down a firearm with no ammo. Just another consideration.

well, If you don’t help folks out by sharing what you stock pile you are part of the problem. Do the right thing and put half of what you have up for sale at the same price you paid for it.

Just cus it's the going price doesnt mean it's not ridiculous. I can tell ya being in academy right after 9 and seeing the guys there with wife, cousin and second cousins and each "buying " 500 round boxes for "personal use " ya it's some bull personally and no different than cheaper than dirt.
And people being willing to buy the stuff for that artificially inflated price is why they continue to be able to do it.

Based on $600/1000, it sounds like "RAPE" is legal up there in you guy's neck of the woods.
