This was after they already said they are 25% short of fuel tanker drivers in the US, you might want to fuel up !!!!!

No gas at five points. No gas at Tom Thumb on Chumuckla. Finally filled both vehicles and some cans at raceway on 90. Tom Thumb on 90 is also out of gas.

We do not get our fuel from that pipeline. It is barged in from Louisiana last I heard. If the stations are out of fuel it is likely because everyone heard the news is filling their tanks and gas cans again. Another possiblity is those going further east are stopping in this area to fill up here rather than not finding fuel on the way.

I think part of it, is also a shortage of Haz Mat drivers to transport.

From what I read yesterday, this would mainly affect the Northeast. But like others said, "Never let a crisis go to waste, filling up just in case, tourists, etc".

Went to gas up today on Pine Forrest and it was like crazy at the pump. Two stations on Michigan were out.

From my reading the pipeline affected feeds East Coast. Guess I will chill a few days before I try to find gas! LOL

I got diesel for my tractor and topped up my gas tank at the first station I hit. It is a neighborhood station near Pace Highschool. They were out of the middle and high octane, but had regular diesel. For off hours the station was busy, but I did not have to wait. i am fine for gas for the nx several wk and might need more diesel on the week end.
