While in the Marines on my first unit deployment (UDP) to Okinawa in 2000 my friends mother in law who lived in Okinawa and called me “Ric-San“ and it stuck as I was there for 1.5 yrs in a 3 yr period. I managed to do a back to back UDP by changing squadrons. The original plan was to get 2 yrs on station in Miramar with 1 yr overseas to then PCS back to Pensacola for a twilight tour (pre-retirement); 9/11 fucked that plan up pretty bad. I came back from Okinawa to CONUS in July 2001 after being overseas for a year.

Arms grew quicker than everything else in fifth grade I guess. Someone hung the 'condor' nickname on me because of my wingspan at the time. First forum I joined 20+ years ago 'condor' was taken so I added an 'o'. Pic from Team America - because America... $#%%## yeah!

The character Gumby is a old gruff always fussy so… that was the wife’s addition, the later part was I hunt… 3 days this past deer season and will fuss about no deer meat the rest of the year
