WTB or trade for a blued Smith and Wesson Model 36 snubby revolver made between the 1950s and early 80s.

Do you want a shooter, or a safe queen? I have a 36 flat latch with some finish wear, non original grips. been using it for my carry for a while, but now I'm using a Colt Cobra.

Looking for more of a collection piece, but send me a pic and I will consider it. Thanks for asking!

The pawn shop at Springhill and I-65 had a very nice 36 no dash when I was there on Thursday. About $400. I don't think mine is what you are after, but I'll take some images and PM you tomorrow.

Just a word to Kanaloa... S&W can refurb a revolver. I've seen one of them and unless the piece is pitted, it will return looking like a brand new weapon. I've not priced the service, but I'm pretty sure they still do it..

That's unusual - a nice gun in a pawn shop for a decent price. I never find that.
    Post up a pic. I love S&W J frames.

Roaster's Gallery found it - I was just lucky he shared the find. Some of the pawn shops I've purchased guns from in the past were willing to negotiate the price. I prefer friendly, customer oriented merchants; or I won't go back. I enjoyed the purchase as Eddies today.

Here is the little 36. For reference, next to his big brother, Highway Patrolman, which I feel is the best made gun I own. The Patrolman I believe was from the 1970s. The 36 appears to be mid 1980s.
