Would like to go shoot the Mosin with my son and looking for some ammo. I don’t really care if it’s commercial or surplus.

It's not cheap but capital pawn on pace Blvd has plenty in stock. $18 a box of 20

I just hate paying that much for 54r. I’m going to hold out and hope for someone trying to get rid of their stash of spam cans in the basement.

You can buy what you are looking for at the attached URL with free shipping and no sales tax. There might be better deals out there but this is available now at a competitive price. These guys ship fast and yes they make a honest profit.

I was looking at their selection too. They do charge sales tax though.

I have bought from them in the past and by the past I don't mean 5 years ago, I didn't pay Florida tax. That was the case no more the a year ago and that they charge tax is news to me. If they charge it now, oh well, you know who's to blame for that. It's doubtful this or any other ammo is going to come down much in price so you might just begin to add to your stash now rather than later. The price of ammo may moderate some but the tax will never, ever go away.

I have, I believe, 180 rounds of Hungarian mild steel surplus corrosive ammo that I can sell if you want. I have no intention of using it, and it's just sitting on a shelf, $100.
