What pistol are you looking at getting next?

I'm in the market for a new pistol and wondering what you would get for ccw, weather primary or secondary,or better yet list one of each.

I am leaning twords another 1911,probably officers or commander moddel or a glock 29,or a sig p938....amongst others..what would you get?

CCW wise? Kimber Solo and a Kahr P380 are next on my list.

You will really like that Kahr. I was impressed with the accuracy fpr such a small pistol. Heads up: it hangs up a bit during the break in, but mine has been flawless after a couple hundred rounds. Also, it absolutely will not tolerate limp wristing the slide.

I was toying with some kimbers yesterday as well,honestly I cant stand the aluminum crap they put out.All of their others are pretty nice,but still dont know if they deserve the price they demand...except for the eclipse...

Have you shot or handled an EMP? I love mine.

Also I don't think you can go wrong with a 938, the difference between carrying it and my 238 is negligible, they even go in the same holster.

Make sure the receiver doesn't bend when you twist it

Yes, this.. Check and make sure that the receiver is made by a reputable manufacturer. I traded for a " Krinks Naples, FL" AK and it was ridiculous how weak the receiver was, you could twist it by hand and cause the trigger group pins to come out. Learned that lesson the hard way, I took a couple hundred dollar hit to get rid of it.
