Finished my build that I and my father worked on yesterday. 20 inch .223 wylde, 1:9 twist. Left hand side charger. Nikon 4x12 bdc scope (tku rackinray), nikon mount. PSA lower w/a2 stock. Tube style vented hand guard.(unknown make?, tku ridgerunner) Thread protector. Lancer 20rd.

Maybe weds. They have a 300 yard range just down the road from me. Setting 0 on them at 100 yards. Gonna take several AR's and make a day if it. Have to set all the scopes.

Off to range with new build and .450. Took 308 spring with me. May try in 450.

Back from the range. 450 works great, kicks like a sob. No mags so used gi 20. Worked fine for single load, single shot. 1 Moa at 100 yards. . Very pleased.

Shooting today brings up the fact that I need a good drop in trigger. GI triggers that I have are fine for shooting crap at close ranges. But when you go 100+ they stink.(mine anyway)

223 wylde build. Took some breakin on the side charger, 100 rds it was running good. Does not like pmags. Lancer 20 is going to be my goto mag. Love the LH side charger. Love it! Shot tula,greentip,brown tip. Had alot of trouble with me, the trigger and scope or something? Wish I had a sled. Not pleased with the build as of today. Seemed like it was all over, may have to pull it apart and take a look. Had alot of trouble holding the reciever in my vice block. Torque wrench I borrowed was not working right so in the end I guessed. Poor decision on my part. Towards the end of shooting using the 10 shot pmag got a bullet wedged in the barrel (frang) when I hammered the bolt open it pulled the brass shell and left the bullet inside some where. I'll tear it down tonight and look at it. Not a fun day.

On the bright side the 450 kicks like a 3 inch mag slug and hies where you aim it.20+ shots. Cha-ching! Is the noise I kept hearing on every shot. When I do get a deer in front of it, it will turn a somersault. 260 gr fusion. Tried the 308? Spring. Made it a single shot / bolt action and it really,really kicked. Won't be using that.

As far as I know it was not. Brown tip. Was shooting crap steel cased stuff too.

Nope, brand new. Ran a patch/brush down it and oiled before shooting. Maybe was some kind of trash in there that weged it. Shot about 300 rds prior to this. Popped right out, with cleaning rod.

Got my "art". 12ga sb2 case color 3 inch. 18 inch. Mod. Should be good for my chamber inserts. The weight on the rear makes it point well. Even has quick detach sling, tri rail with light. Something fun. Will put rear stock on. Solid built.

Gave in and got a Ruger Wrangler to play with and use as a truck/wandering around rim fire. Hope this one shoots as well as they are reported to!

went thru all my stuff and I have way too much, giving up my lease and most hunting so all these mainly AR parts and some guns need to go, damn I hate selling them off though

Got my .450 bushmaster upper, shot very well. Pleased with the cannon. Used the Trump lower and wanted to something special with it. Almost finished. Wife is going to backfill the lettering, still hashing out the colors. Changed the grip and installed the Trump 2020 1911 panel's. Had to use the push button safety as the flipper was contacting the grip panels. Have a few more ideas. Heres what it looks like so far.

Yeah, something I thought was cool. 45th pres lower ,45 grip on a 450... . It actually feels pretty good shooting. It's just a hair wider that a gi 45 grip though. With wood.
