I have this item just wondering what it is,and used for.i think it is some sort heat shrinking device maybe for pipe or cable. It gets red hot has a wooden handle and in a insulated bag. Maybe someone on the forum could use it,thanks. See pics

I think it's an electric crucible for melting and pouring soft metals (pewter/silver/lead,etc..). Insulated bag, got a pic ?
