Yeah,I like Carson. I feel that he is super intellegent. A "critical" thinker. A problem solver. Can surely work with others. Mild mannered yet probably cannot be taken advantage of. Seems to be a moral man.

Not a politician. Would not make a good POTUS at this time in history. VP ---> heck yeah as long as Trump does not try to treat him as his little boy(this, having nothing to do with the color of his skin). --- SAWMAN

I liked him the first time I saw him eat obumba's lunch at the 2009 prayer breakfast....& he shares my views that there is a problem with islam & we need to guard our borders...he has no respect for common core, or excuses from the poor picked on black race that the white man is keeping them down....

he has a great personal story too, raised by a single mother who expected, no, demanded he study & learn, instead of being a ghetto punk

I listened to the speech today - those that hoped he would do poorly had to have been surprised. He communicated his points clearly and concisely, and said what a large percent of the country feels. This hail mary of Cruz's isn't going to help any more than teaming up with Kasich did.

A permit is required before students can talk about Jesus at North Carolina State University, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court.
Grace Christian Life, a registered student group at NC State, filed suit over a policy requiring a permit for any kind of student speech or communication anywhere on campus – including religious speech.

In September 2015, the student group was told that without a permit, they must stop approaching other students inside the student union to engage in religious discussions or invite them to attend group events.

colleges used to be where free speech was revered...now they want to shut down anything that offends them, or is microaggression (whatever the hell that is) or if it hurts their widdle feelings...

Spent 17 minutes today waiting for the longest and slowest train I've ever seen in Crestview to pass through downtown. Even the usually interesting boxcar art (graffiti) got old after a while.

Congrats Viking and good on your son.

Cruz might have screwed the man's best friend today. Someone has told him he is done and he is grasping for any weed on the cliff face.

    That was funny Caveman.

I'm not a carly fan. Fact is since 1980, more women have voted in Presidential elections then men. Trump has a major problem with the Ladies vote. Carly gets a check in the box as a outsider and gender representative. She brings about zero voter base and delegates. Too little to late and not very popular by many accounts. Two prior Tickets ran female VP's and both lost: trifecta?

Trump does much better when he uses the bamalama teleprompter speech delivery system: very presidential. So easy a caveman could do it! Lol

here comes the future....our colleges are doing a good job in brainwashing and indoctrination..

A shocking new survey has found that support for capitalism is dying in America.
In fact, more than half of all adults in the United States under the age of 30 say that they do not support capitalism at this point. You might be tempted to dismiss them as “foolish young people”, but the truth is that they are the future of America. As older generations die off, they will eventually become the leaders of this country. And of course our nation has not resembled anything close to a capitalist society for quite some time now. In a recent article, I listed 97 different taxes that Americans pay each year, and some Americans actually end up returning more than half of what they earn to the government by the time it is all said and done. So at best it could be said that we are running some sort of hybrid system that isn’t as far down the road toward full-blown socialism as most European nations are. But without a doubt we are moving in that direction, and our young people are going to be cheering every step of the way.

Yesterday I'm driving home from work and pull up behind a newer Corvette Stingray convertible and what do I see on the back bumper, a Bernie Sanders bumper sticker! Talk about ruining a sweet ride! Not to mention doe the guy not realize that Bernie will take his money and give it to those lazy people who are less fortunate than him! Hopefully I'll see it again, have to get a picture of this!

    Three possibilities Viking.

1: Vette boy is working the system and that's precisely why he can afford a Vette. He has money flowing in from the government AND another (hidden) source of income.

2: He's rich enough to build a shield around himself but wants you and I to foot the bill. Example: Actors. On the outside it appears they advocate 90% taxes for everyone and "everyone equal". Works for them, they're rich and mobile. The Clooneys and other celebs think socialism is a fine idea because it won't affect them.

3: Every nickle dude has is going into that car and doesnt give a crap about his living standards . I know where one of that type lives. There's a broken down, horrible, nasty leaking and condemned looking trailer out here in Beulah. Been watching it for years. If it was on my property I would pay to have it burned down and shoveled up. The guy that lives there has a new Vette, always. In the 10 years I've lived out here I know for a fact that he's traded in on the latest model at least 4 times.

Sean you are probably right on one of the 3 options, just looked funny seeing a Bernie bumper sticker on a nice newer Vette! Just the fact he put a bumper sticker on a newer Vette, talk about making it look cheap!

Sterling was found guilty in a special court-martial for defying the order of a staff sergeant in 2013 to remove three signs at her work station bearing the words “No weapon formed against me shall prosper,” a modified quotation from Isaiah in the Bible. She later told the court that she posted them in a triangular fashion to represent the Holy Trinity. When Sterling refused, the staff sergeant pulled the signs down. Sterling put them up again the next day. She was brought up on charges for disobeying that order as well as others at a later date. She was demoted and discharged for bad conduct.

    HEY!! we won one!!

Washington (CNN)The U.S. Army has reversed a decision to discharge a Green Beret for kicking and body slamming an Afghan police commander accused of sexually assaulting a boy.

The Army said in a statement Thursday night that Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland's status has changed, which allows him to continue Army service. The statement did not provide further details.

The decision was first reported by Fox News.
Martland and former Capt. Daniel Quinn were disciplined by the Army after they beat a powerful local police official who they concluded had been raping a small boy in northern Afghanistan in 2011. They say they had been encouraged by higher-ups that there was nothing to do about such horrific acts, that these were Afghan problems for the Afghan authorities to work out.
But the Afghan authorities wouldn't do anything about it, the two soldiers say.

According to a statement by Martland last year that was obtained by CNN, he and Quinn were told by a young Afghan boy and his mother, through an Afghan interpreter, that the boy had been tied to a post at the home of Afghan Local Police commander Abdul Rahman and raped repeatedly for up to two weeks. When his mother tried to stop the attacks, they said, Rahman's brother beat her.
"After the child rapist laughed it off and referenced that it was only a boy, Captain Quinn picked him up and threw him," Martland wrote. Martland then proceeded to "body slam him multiple times," kick him in the rib cage, and put his foot on his neck. "I continued to body slam him and throw him for fifty meters until he was outside the camp," Martland wrote. "He was never knocked out, and he ran away from our camp." The incident lasted no more than five minutes, according to Martland.
Both have said that they took the action they took because otherwise nothing would be done by the Army or local authorities.
A Pentagon spokesman last year denied that telling soldiers to look the other way is official practice.
The case has become a cause celebre of sorts for some. Rep. Duncan Hunter has been active in publicizing Martland's plight. Though Martland had been under a gag order from the Army, Hunter, a California Republican, asked him to write about his version of events.

If he is, that would be the other one........ as Air Force Secretery is an open Lesbian...... This scum scuker in the WH is turning the military inside out. Someone is going to have one hell of a job fixing 8 years of this duche. I would pick up the phone and call Stanley McCrystal and tell him to put his uniform back on and report to the WH for his next post, go fix it, get who ever you need.

    NOT SO FAST....

WASHINGTON (AP) — The nomination of President Barack Obama's choice to serve as Army secretary remains blocked by a Kansas senator over administration efforts to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and transfer detainees to the U.S.
Eric Fanning, who has held several jobs in the Pentagon, would be the first openly gay leader of a U.S. military service if confirmed. But Republican Sen. Pat Roberts placed a hold on the nomination last year and refused to relent Thursday despite pleas from the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona.
"My hold on the nominee is to protect the security of the United States and more especially the people of Kansas," Roberts said on the Senate floor.
Closing the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay was a theme of Obama's 2008 campaign, and he has pushed to shutter the facility, which he argues is costly and gives extremists a recruiting tool. Congress repeatedly has prohibited the transfer of any detainees to U.S. soil, and the possibility of Kansas' Fort Leavenworth as an alternative prompted Roberts' actions.
Roberts said his hold has nothing to do with Fanning's qualifications or character. "I would be more than happy to vote on Fanning's nomination" once there are assurances from the White House, he said.
The senator said he had a conversation Thursday morning with the White House in hopes the issue could be worked out, but the administration would not rule out Leavenworth as a potential location for detainees.
McCain argued that it was unfair to block Fanning's nomination over an unrelated issue. He said Roberts "is shooting a hostage" and abusing his power.
"That's not the role of advise and consent," McCain said. "That is a distortion of advise and consent."
