Oh Hell Mark, keep the thing. You'll regret selling it for sure. You won't get the "Jeep Wave" any longer! A YJ is a CJ with some body changes. Both series are absolutely bulletproof. I understand getting tired of the rough ride but if it didn't ride rough, it wouldn't be a Jeep. I had my first Jeep when I was still in High School. It was an old WW2 Jeep and me and a friend were out mud riding with 2 girls. Johnny and his girl were in the back riding on the wheel well. She had on a red velvet pants suit (all right guys, go easy on me...it was the 60's) and was riding in his lap. I hollered at them to hold on, "It's going to get rough!" We got through the mud and when I looked back to ask them how they liked the ride, there was nobody there. I freaked out and spun around to go back. Came up on them and Johnny had almost no mud on him. The poor girl in the pants suit had wound up under him. There wasn't a spot that wasn't covered with Mississippi Delta wet gumbo mud. She was absolutely hysterical. Nobody was hurt but she was pissed at me. Of course when I stopped I bogged down. That's when we had to walk a mile back to get a tractor. Everybody was pissed at me the rest of the night. Only in a Jeep could you have that much fun!I love how it can go places people including my wife says no it won’t make it. I put a winch on it and tried to stick it but when I put it in low range it just crawled up and out. I did stick it once thanks to the Reese hitch hitting. Put new springs and tires on and solved the problem. Factory leaf springs were worn out the 2” lift that was supposed to happen with the new springs turned out to be closer to 8” I just can’t take the rough ride anymore View attachment 129087
