My dad just about whipped a teacher when I was at Woodham HS. It was one of the days of the infamous race wars (Thanks again and a big shout out to The Reverend H.K. Mathews and the lovely Dr. Ruby Gainor). Dad showed up to pull me out of school before I got tangled up in the frey as I was just a tiny bit ............. upset over a buddy getting jumped by around a dozen of Obama's sons. The teacher refused to allow my dad to come to my class to get me.

Funny thing is Frank that before the first Gen race baiters showed up everything was pretty cool around here in the 60's and 70's. I mean, we sort of self segregated but I don't really remember racism per se. we just all had different groups of friends and didn't hang together. When the shit stirrers cranked up it went from ambivalence to hatred on both sides overnight.

That is true, in McComb Ms when the northern instigators came to town it was our black citizens that blocked the exit ramp on the interstate to block them from coming to town telling them this was NO place for them to visit!
