Surely these are exhibition troops. I can't believe anybody would train their regular troops to march this precise. It is impressive to watch though. Bear in mind, any one of these charming ladies would kill you and your whole family in a heartbeat.

It's kind of sad. In that THIS is true Hawaiian Hula. But, what most mainlanders want to see and know is really Tahitian Hula (fast moving hips). That is what Hollywood puts in their films and TV shows. Ironically that's what is sold in Hawaiian souvenier shops as "Hawaiian Hula dolls" They are really Tahitian. has to disheasrening for Hawaiian people wanting to keep their culture alive.
