I have a 4 month old S&W SW9VE - it has had no more than 15 rounds through it.
This S&W is like new. It features a lightweight polymer frame, matte black slide, double action only trigger, and fixed 3 dot sights. 1magazine. Located in fort Walton beach. For sale $300. Not interested in trading for any rifles - may trade for another handgun. Will not trade down.

The reason he was asking is S&W changed the design a couple of years ago. The newer model has a different rail system on the front of the gun.

That rail system is S&W proprietary.

Hiest nailed it, I remember 8 years ago seeing these in academy with a standard rail , and since then they've added slide cuts and some other "upgrades". It's very possible it's new old stock, or that he's only had it for 4 monthes, or I don't even know.

My wife has a 3953 tsw we found last year that was new old stock, fired at the factory in 1999 and then sat in a counter since then. It's "brand new" while being over 10 years old. I just wanted to know the pistols story, honestly I like the look of a sigma in all black.

Just talked to the guy I got it from. He said he bought it new from a company that had it sitting around for years.

I just talked to the original buyer - the store received it in stock in 2010 and sold it (to the guy I got it from) September 2014.
