Nope. Walmart quit carrying 9mm altogether. And 223Yep, 9mm and x39 are no longer the cheaper alternative. My last 9mm was .20 cpr at Academy. Wonder if we will ever see those prices again?
No sir, not going to reload for it. I do plan to shoot steel case in it. I want to get it dialed in with brass case ammo and then I can see what, if any difference there is between the two. Will you reload for this gun ??
Will you be shooting steel cased ammo ?? ---- SAWMAN
I would have been nice if the x39 took AK mags. As my dear departed mother would say "Oh Well........", lol. I'll be looking forward to hearing how yours does, and how accurate it is. Congratulations!I just grabbed one in 5.56... waiting on some scope rings to show up. I've heard these things are stoopit accurate for the money. Mag compatibility was the deciding factor.
Thanks buddy. If its better than my 20" AR I'll be seriously impressed. Might even list it! I have enough ARs currently...I would have been nice if the x39 took AK mags. Educate me please. So it takes Ruger Mini 30 mags only. Do Ruger Mini 30 mags come in different calibers or only 7.62x39? Do Ruger Mini 30 mags come in different capacities? Roughly, what would Ruger Mini 30 mags sell for? There is a reason I am asking which I prefer not to say at this time. Thank you for the info.I would have been nice if the x39 took AK mags. As stage20 said the mini 30 mags are 762x39 only. They come in 5,10, and 20 round capacity. shopruger.com has them, so does CDNNsports.com. They are not hard to come by, but they do seem rather flimsy though compared to com block AK mags. 5 round-$29.95, 10 and 20 round-$39.95. Not cheap. I don't intend to get many....won't be doing any mag dumps with them, lol.Educate me please. So it takes Ruger Mini 30 mags only. Do Ruger Mini 30 mags come in different calibers or only 7.62x39? Ruger American's are advertised as 1MOA right out the boxI just grabbed one in 5.56... waiting on some scope rings to show up. I've heard these things are stoopit accurate for the money. Mag compatibility was the deciding factor.

For the ruger branded the 30 bucks isn't bad at all. But I can say at least for the 5.56 the other option being promag, buy ruger brand. That's down from $100 each not that long ago
