    Small project boat. Neighbor looking for small fresh water boat project to build with his 6yr old son. He has motor.

    Tell your friend to Google "Stitch and Glue". It's a great construction method where you can build a plywood boat without very much framing. There are countless resources. Here is one possible candidate. https://www.woodenboat.com/boat-plans-kits/14-6-outboard-skiff-little-moby

    Lots of people publish plans for small outboard skiffs using Stitch and Glue construction.

    he does not have a shop or time really. 5 kids all under 12. ( just inherited 2 from drug attic sister in-law)

    looking for 10 or 12 ft jon boat. something he can put seats, lights ,fix some small cracks etc. and attach his motor. 6 year old son wants to fish brim.

    Um.......... OK. Nothing wrong with that, but that's not exactly what I would call a boat building project.
