old gun writers

does any one remember some of the old gun writer like bill jordan, skeeter skelton, elmer keith and many others? i sure miss reading their plain common sense style of writing. does any one have an old copy of skeeter skeltons short stories of growing up during the depression and his days as a leo?

I read all of their work. Jack O'Conner and Craig Boddington were two other favorite gun writers of mine from that time period!

I do remember all of them. I was going to say check ebay for a copy, but they are selling for ALOT. I'll have to keep my eye out at yard sales and estate sales.

Yesiree , I still have guns and ammo magazines from the 70's . My sister gave me a subscription for Christmas one year . Several field and stream also . Still some great reading .
