    Maybe this is just new to me but figured I'd share it anyway.

    Troy Defense came out with a pump action AR. Do no think I would want to own one but would not mine holding one in person or firing a few rounds through it. Not sure if it uses the standard AR lower receiver or not, but it does use AR style magazines. I will post the link to the article about it if I can find it again.

    I agree FrankT, only thing I can think of is for people in California and other states which have ridiculous regulations for semi-auto guns with removable magazines. If I were in one of those states think I'd rather have a pump action shotgun or a Remington 7600. Can not remember exactly but think the MSRP was over $1k

    seems it may have been an exercise for Troy with pending gun legistlation. I like the idea. If/When semi-auto AR's get banned, this is a viable alternative.
