I am wanting to add a can to my msar. My can has 5/8-24 threads and I am not sure what thread pattern the rifle is. I have seen two seperate patterns listed and I'm not thread pitch inclined. Anyone know? And where is the best place to get an adapter to match them? Thanks in advance!

If the msar is 5.56, most likely 1/2x28 threading.

    Threading for models:

    STG556: left hand M13x1

    STG E4: 1/2 x 28 and also left hand M13x1

    Hope this helps

AAC made a blackouit FH with AUG threads that was supposed to work with the STG. CNC warrior does thread adapters as well.

I read that rattworx might buy the tooling. That would work out I've dealt with them before and they seemed ok.
