    $600obo

Near Perfect JM stamped Marlin .444. Stamp is a partial so it had the J and a part of the M. Serial number dates it early 2000. Has the bullseye. Action is like running a hot knife through butter. Only trades would be a Marlin JM stamped .45-70 or a good 7mm or 300wm.

I will be moving out of state in 45 days. If it doesn't sell or get traded I am taking it with me. I do not have to sell either.

I have a ported 45/70 that would look great together with this. I got to shoot a friend of mines .444 Marlin and they are a hoot to shoot. I need to build my gun fund back up quickly.

that is a fine rifle, but just curious, why would you exchange if for a 45-70? ammo availability?

    .444 has slightly better ballistics

I hunted with a .45-70 in Alaska. I am headed back to Alaska after I retire in a couple years and prefer it when I am in the thick stuff.

This ad had 30 more days until it's pulled down and the gun moves with me out west. Get it while you can.

I absolutely love this chambering. I really believe using the 300gr WFNGC (hard cast) or the Hornady 300gr XTP's this gun would get it done. I have killed some of the bigger animals with mine.
Best of luck with the sale of this great old gun sir. --- SAWMAN
