No personal experience. Based on what I’ve read, if it was a steal of a price, open a can, examine a box, test it. Everything I’ve read said inconsistent velocities, probably corrosive, and can sometimes be “hot”.
Basically, the Chinese trying to F you, indirectly.

You could pull the rounds, weigh the projectiles just to see, collect the powder, refill with consistent powder measures, and reseat the projectiles. At that point, should be consistent and safe, but might still be corrosive.

    Just thoughts...

What price per round would you be looking at?

If I could open a can I would but I don't think that's on the table

If it’s a deal then buy it.

I buy any ammo at a deal - even if I don’t have a gun to match.

Or - let me know where I can get it.

I have some individual Norinco 20 rd boxes of 55 gr brass case I bought sometime in the mid 90's. It goes bang every time! About that same time I bought a bunch of made in South Africa PMP 55 gr brass cased ammo. I am down to my last 2 boxes. That stuff was very accurate and clean all for about $3.00 a box at the time. I have never seen it for sale since then :(

that norinco stuff is corrosive and CRAZY inconsistent in my experiences with it. i'd pass unless you have a norinco AK chambered in 5.54x45. ymmv.
