Any of you guys had any experience with this norinco 5.56x45. I found a pretty good bit of it in an estate sale fore cheap and I'm wondering if it's worth the risk to buy it
.25/rndNo personal experience. Based on what I’ve read, if it was a steal of a price, open a can, examine a box, test it. Everything I’ve read said inconsistent velocities, probably corrosive, and can sometimes be “hot”.
Basically, the Chinese trying to F you, indirectly.
You could pull the rounds, weigh the projectiles just to see, collect the powder, refill with consistent powder measures, and reseat the projectiles. At that point, should be consistent and safe, but might still be corrosive.
Just thoughts...
What price per round would you be looking at?
That's pretty much what I've been readingthat norinco stuff is corrosive and CRAZY inconsistent in my experiences with it. i'd pass unless you have a norinco AK chambered in 5.54x45. ymmv.
Spray the gun with windex gtg. That's pretty much what I've been reading
