Yep it's a 9/11 scale disaster for Hawaii and it's being completely downplayed so nobody will get in trouble for it. "They" want it forgotten about. There's a thousand bodies floating in the water and burnt up on the streets. Aid is being brought in by jet ski by locals that see what's going on, because official aid is being stalled and denied

We too are in in a perfect place for the same thing to happen. No matter how much water you pour on these if the wind is blowing that hard it will dry the treetops and race across them.
It's a by product of greed and laziness. We have super land owners who own more land than they can properly maintain. Even the states can't afford to do burns as needed.
So now all the land just sits and no one can use or maintain it. Historically natives would burn it regularly to make it easier to hunt animals. We never had this much brush as we do now. It's very unnatural.
Then even when we do get fires, we race to put them out.
People think, fir bad. It's a flawed logic.
Eventually they'll have to make laws that you can only own what you can afford to properly maintain.
If not, well keep seeing this over and over.
My woods next to me now aren't kept properly and is a super fire waiting to happen.

Lotta truth there. Way back I worked on a large complex where we did controlled burns once/twice a year. On a perfectly calm day, once that fire is going, it starts drawing in air and will advance through "green" brush/trees at a rate you will never out run. Leaves a lasting impression.
