I have that chambering in a Ruger Hawkeye carbine for hunting. It shoots very well with surplus, but never tried any range or benchrest yet. I may have to one day. I can imagine this with the skeleton synthetic stock, might look for one.

I am hoping for sub 1 3/4 moa with BS steel case with this thing.
I have an AR47 with a 10.5" barrel that manages 1 5/8 with certain steel cased.

I sold my can of 200 grain x39 subsonics to my favorite ammo dealer last year. Maybe I can get a box back for you. I'm interested to see what such a set up as yours can do with them at a distance. I got them a couple years ago at Gulf Coast Guns store on 90. Maybe they'll get some more in or maybe they can special order them for you if yall have different suppliers

What mag are you using? I thought Oryx uses AI mags and they don’t come in x39

If it's a short mag 5-10 rds you can use the 5.56 mag. I've used the standard gi 20 in my x39 ar. 5-7 rds work fine.

Howa 7.62x39/ 6.5 Grendel mags.
AI 223/556 are supposed to work as rebel said, just can't load 10 rd mag to full capacity.
