Been looking for a bolt action 7.62x39 ad finally able to get one.
    Howa M1500 Mini Action ORYX.
Excellent trigger but mags and optics rails are like brain cells and libs..... A few out there but you really have to look around.
    I'm still deciding on optics.

I like the style of that rifle. I assume you reload for that type of rifle; surplus would be a waste of time in the target world.
I am not familiar with the 7.62x39 in a target capacity. It would be good to know, does anyone have experience with it?

Why haven't more of these gun companies figured out to use popular design magazine wells? If these manufacturers offered more compatibility they would sell more product.
Because Tapco went out of business and SKS's are their direct competitor and cost less

An AR47 mag would be too easy and reliable!
Ruger makes a killing on mags.

Unless it's German surplus. That stuff is high quality boat tail x39. It's been a little while, but there was some for sale at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium gun show by the double doors

I miss my M77 in x39. I sold it locally before I moved away about 10 years ago. If anybody knows where it is, let me know! The Ruger synthetic skeletonized stock was so lightweight. I might be tempted to buy a mini Mauser in x39 next, to get as close to having that legendary claw extractor as I can. Not really interested in a bolt action x39 with detachable mags. Nice looking rifle lil'skeet

I don't reload yet. I don't have the time as of right now. Work 1 full time job building houses, work part time helping good friends with concrete/site work, then sell Firearms and firearm related items in my spare time.
Have 5 motorcycles I enjoy riding when I can and a couple 26 year old work trucks to keep up with..
I Have a 23 month old little girl, one more on the way in May and a wife that says we need to spend more time together. I told her learn how to reload for me. She ain't buying into it..
    I'm a busy little feller.

Anyway a little progress on commie bolt action.
    20 moa rail

Employ her at the gun counter with one hand and keep the other hand in the kitchen :)

If you could find a storefront on 98 with a living quarters above or behind it then you could do guns full time at home and not have to do construction anymore and not have any more bills than you already do because it's all under one mortgage. Maybe even take over Tradewinds when he retires. He manages that place by himself pretty good, it's in your neighborhood and it has established clientele

I want my own 1000+ yds range out back though. I enjoy shooting more than selling. Keeps wife a bay because it's "business" ;-)
