Apparently this happens to ruger 1911s, I'd read about it awhile back. And yes this is a perfect excuse for some better sights or a new gun. Kinda like trading in the car cause the tires are bald.
All in all it was a great day, I feel like I'm getting better. I'm not one of the bearded wonders though.haha

I do have to say, the longer my beard has been getting, the better I've been shooting. Coincidence? I think not.

One day I might actually be able to get a day off and go to one of these.. I got a gun for it just need a holster and another mag or 2 and some more range time. Hopefully my OT will start slacking off so I can get back to the range and reloading.

Haha. Thanks a lot for the compliments. I had a lot of fun with you guys today! I told my wife that a life goal I have is to grow a good beard but the current boss says NO! Go figure.... It was also cool to check out some of the cool equipment you guys have. I hope to start coming monthly and upgrade my equipment so I can give you guys some competition A great group of guys. Always enjoy meeting you guys from the forum.
