Technically yeah, your draw could be more efficient. I as well have a little bit of "bowl" in my draw but it's no where near what it was. I highly recommend the following video. Ron Avery is second to none IMO with teaching the draw stroke. He used to have a better video of just him up on youtube but it appears to have been removed.

Yes! Love this video. I've watched it at least 3 times, but my draw still isn't where it needs to be.

    Badass pictures tennjeep!

Thanks, huk. I wish had time to take pictures and/or video of everyone and still be able to shoot the match.

Anyone know when the scores will be posted? I'm anxious to find out how I did. I didn't join IDPA until Monday morning, so I'm not sure if I will be emailed the scores or not.

It'll come. Once you get past the timer jitters, you'll get your accuracy back to how you would normally shoot. Then, after a few more matches, your movements will become much faster...less wasted motions burning up time. Then, you'll get cocky and get REALLY fast like me and miss everything on the stage!lol

If I can learn to ignore the buzzer and regain the feeling in my trigger finger, I'll be alright. Lol.

Wish y'all would get some real guns and compete in cdp like Jogan and I.

I just sold my only 1911, but I plan on getting another one eventually.

What division does a 45 Glock fall into? Would it be in a different division than a 9mm Glock?

If I ever get speedloaders and a holster for my 6" Ruger GP100, I might embarrass myself with it.

I thought the Glock 34 was ESP since it's competition tuned. The 9mm 1911 goes into ESP. I believe the 21 or 30 is just SSP like the. 9mm's.

    I found out I can't ever run a 500. Apparently it's too heavy. Pfft!

I only run the 1911 every few matches. I mostly run my XDM40 and am very happy with the results. I ran the XDS45 last month in CDP and did better than this past match due to all the damn mag issues. Got it sorted out now...2 new mags for the 1911 and I'll just use the Kimber pro's to top off before the stages...

And tennjeep, I'll buy your holster if you'll let me shoot that GP100 in a match or two...!!

with the kimber pro's loaded to 8 there isn't enough room left for the spring to compress any more. takes an act of congress to fully seat on a closed breech. If the slide is locked back, no problem. Tried the new mags today and no more problemo. A few of the guys that were in my squad have had the same issues with Kimber mags and some others. It never showed up before since the few other times I've used the 1911 we've been reloading at slide lock during the stages. Good to find these things out now where the only casualty is my score....

Right. It's a very short mag to hold that many rounds. Makes sense. What are you replacing them with?

If you shoot the next match, you can use mine. I'll be shooting the plastic gun for the match!
