I thought every Marine would own a Colt 1911......

    Now you gotta get one!
I've owned several. My favorite was my first, a chromed WW2 Colt, wearing Kimber USMC rosewood grips and gold plated controls. I was spoiled from the beginning and I didn't even know it. I only paid $600 for it out of an estate. I bought the Kimber USMC grips for it, shot the stew out of it, ruined the barrel and then traded it. I should have just bought a new barrel. Extenuating circumstances keep me from buying another. If you know, you know. Most recent Colt I sold here was a Series 90 Mk2 Double Eagle. Very nice.
