This plot is 200 yards from my back door. Bride and family are sawing, beating, air nailing and building stuff. They must have a calender and know.
Yall put some pix up, making me feel silly.

Coons seem to be thick this year, I’ve seen a lot more around our feeders this year than I have in the past.

Yeah, usually have 2-3 pests, I think their's 6 in that photo. Gotta start coon hunting in the off season. Shallow swamp NNW of me. Had one out in the daytime, took a shot using the 22 mag. Ranged wrong dropped the round about 5 inches in front of him, man did he boogie out. Did give him a dirt bath. Using the R15 next time...

I’m seeing a lot of roadkill coons this year. Unusual.

That explains why my friend found two dog collars tied to the back of his tractor trailer rig . He originally thought some one was tracking him .

Bride and her sister are gonna set up at dusk and try to zap some with the Ruger 350L. Her sister needs the practice, confidence building. Fudds at the hunting camp have been giving her grief about her "toy" rifle. Its now wearing a bushnell 3x9 dawn to dusk scope and linear comp. Big thanks to @fir for cutting her a super deal on it.
