Making room in the safe and selling a few great rifles that need to be used! This is a Howa M1500 chambered in 7mag. Topped with an Athlon Ares BTR 4.5-27x50 FFP mil illuminated reticle (my favorite reticle I’ve used for shooting/measuring/making adjustments). Also has a cheap bi-pod I got from Amazon because nobody had the Harris I intended to purchase - turned out to work just fine and I never replaced it. Also comes with a box and a half of Nosler Ballistic tip ammo. This rifle LOVES this ammo. Last time I shot this rifle, I shot two 3-round groups. Both were roughly 0.7” and the only variance was left to right in the 15-20mph crosswind. Top to bottom was probably 0.25”.
This rifle has been used. It has surface rust on the barrel. Still has mud from a bean field in Mississippi where I recently harvested a mature 8 point. Heck, I think it even still have a bit of blood on the stock from the pictures taken. It’s not a beauty queen, but it will dang sure outshoot most rifles twice its price. Won’t break my heart to keep this one. I just had the desire to build a new 6.5 rifle (haven’t decided if it’s going to be 6.5PRC or 6.5-284 Norma - y’all chime in if you have an opinion here).
