It's not as hard as I make it look. It's just 100 yard steel. You can try that at ERGC, it's a cake walk with a good zero and steady position.NiceI don't think I would've gotten a "hit" whatsoever.

It was humbling. I need to practice those transitions with the scope. I also need to learn when to move on. On the plus side - I hit the 350 target in two shots. That made the whole day worth it. When it is such a nice day and you get to send a bunch of lead done range and nobody is sending it back - it is a great day. Hope to see a bigger ERGC crowd in April.

Ok, here's my only complaint: For $60, I'd really like to see a decent lunch. That's 6x IDPA matches or 3x USPSA matches worth of fees.
I'm just glad I had two kid lunch boxes worth of leftovers in the truck. Lol

The two gun match was great. I've been shooting matches since the 80's and this might be the most fun I've had at one. The guys at CORE did a great job seeing as how they were expecting 35 shooters and 74 showed up. Rifle targets from 10 yards (paper) and steel between 100 to 375 yds. Match was rifle heavy, rounds fired for me was about 180 rifle and 80 pistol. 5 stages. MD said if he'd have known that many shooters he would have added stages. Even better! They are looking to modify sign up process next time to get a more accurate count. So if you want in, better sign up early. $60 worth every penny. Bring lunch!
I got a 1 x 6 on my back up rifle you can use if you like I can get there a little early we can swap it out and sight it if you want

It was really great shooting with the crew today.
In case anyone was wondering, low power variable is most definitely, the way to go. Now I just need an offset red dot... It never ends! Lol
Oh and to remember that at 350, 556 out of an 11" barrel is really starting to run out of steam and drops like a rock.
