I don't get it either. We had a class on the 250' tower and I suppose they got scared. I don't mind though the last thing I need is someone lacking confidence and either collide with me or steal my air.

Be ready to run off the top of their chute! I've seen that. We almost lost the BSM to that!

What would cause you to have to run off there chute. The diffrence in the weight of jumpers? Light dosen't fall as fast and you have no place to go? I know they dont stear worth a shit. My first jump was with a Para Glider I think the name was and it wasn't much more than a glorfied T10.(edit) That name just dosen't sound right. Some skydiver here help me out . How about Para Commander? That sounds better.

Poor spacing / rushing the door and going out your door the same time as the guy across the plane for you. The jump masters are supposed the stagger the jumpers left-right-left so forth but when you have noobs they don't space correctly and end up running to the door towards the back of the line. This event occurs when there isn't enough air space and you end up on top of another guy below. The danger is if you don't get your "own" air then your chute will collapse and your dead. There isn't enough altitude for it to reopen before you splat. Your chute will take you all the way to the crash site though. :)

Tower week done minus some classes tomorrow. Jump twice on Monday. Check body position, check canopy, gain canopy control...Airborne.

Made 2 jumps today Hollywood. Both were with the T-10D. It was awesome. I really didn't get all that nervous. I just had it in my head that I was going out that door no matter what.
