Well, basically Mitch McConnel screwed up,
so badly that it may cost both seats in Georgia.
Had he allowed the 2K, the potheads would have smoked themselves silly
and really would not have been motivated to get off the couch to go vote.

In short, I believe Mitch McConnel just handed the Georgia Senate Election
over to the Democrats as a Christmas Gift. They better not vote him in as
Minority Leader next year, because his policies have literally cost us dearly.
When Trump was first elected, he had majority in both houses.
McConnell squandered that opportunity to make real solid changes.
THEY COULD HAVE PASSED TERM LIMITS!!!!

In fact, whatever happened to the "New Republicans"??
All those young studs who were going to change the world,
and ain't really done squat...or did McConnell squash 'em out?

Trump ran on “drain the swamp” all that Cheeto skinned idiot did was dig it deeper... did he have a great economy...in my opinion yes...and he did bring a few jobs back to the US which is a win.
McConnell is disconnected from the average US citizen, as are all those career assholes

For those that believe in the sanctity of the vote; term limits are imposed by not re-electing under-performers.

As to new republicans, haven't seen anything viable so far. Those I did see just came off as if they wanted to pick up the torch, and there it ended. Must have involved like, work, effort, or something.......

The last real potential for change and house cleaning that I can remember was when the TEA party stood up. They scared the republicans enough that the republicans begged them to join forces, then went about diminishing and ruining them to the point the mere mention brings a chuckle as they idea is dismissed.

Time for some new patriots not associated/beholden to either party, IMO.

Got mine to day in the mail. don't trust the bank. You know thats bad when you trust the usps more then the bank

I do agree with that, granted the Gov could probably lock everyone's account/drain it/etc
at will, or with a Secret Service access code, but actually giving them the ability to do it
whenever they feel like it with ease doesn't appeal to me. That's why I didn't go with the
"Put your bank account info into the IRS.GOV site so we can play with it anytime"...

After all, if Biden decides to up taxes by 30% on everyone to pay for CORONA meds,
anyone who did that is locked into whatever they decide to yank out of your accounts.

Mind you, the whole COVID scare is exactly that. If a 74 yr old woman with COPD,
a Pacemaker, missing a gall bladder, and myriad other health problems that put
her into the hospital about twice a year for a week or two each time didn't croak from
COVID when she got it, few have to worry about it other than those with HIV/AIDS.
My Mother In Law is still alive & kicking...which, according to Dr. Fauci, she shouldn't be.
So that alone tells ya what kinda BS this COVID scare is.

Which is why it really hits Cities more than anywhere else...higher HIV rates...
Which is why the Hollywood folks are scared as heck about COVID, their HIV
rates are astronomical, thanks in part to Charlie Sheen infecting over 300 actresses,
and then those actresses spreading it throughout Hollywood before it all hit the news.
Even now there are probably guys boinking those gals because they're hot and they
don't care...well, they didn't until COVID started dropping otherwise healthy looking
people whose only problem was they didn't know they had HIV...
Which is also why Gay Men are scared as heck about Covid...its made all their
new HIV cure drugs totally useless because HIV/AIDS is now deadly again.
Which is also why the AA communities are scared as heck, their HIV infection rates
are around 1 in 7 AA's having HIV and not knowing it because of "the down lo".
Which is why it runs rampant in old folks homes as well...since Viagra popped up...
old folks have been getting their freak on, since there really isn't much else to do,
and they're not worried about getting pregnant...and an STD at this point is a minor
discomfort compared to all the other things that go wrong with ya after 80 years of age.

He’s not blocking stimulus. He’s blocking the other crap. If the bill was cut and dry stimulus payments only, then it would pass. Both sides suck and I’m not saying I like either because I don’t. A lot could be done but both are too busy paying themselves to care. I was just making an observation and predicting what I think will happen. McConnell isn’t who he claims to be like most politicians.
Too many things added into the proposal. just like the first one when they added in money for endowments for the arts and money for railroads we subsidize each year.
