I've been seeing the wolf steel 300bo lately online while browsing. It's always sold out though or the shipping is through the roof. At least it's hitting the market now. Hopefully the ammo panic buying will end soon and we can get back to some normal pricing. The wolf will be bringing it in as steel cased. I am signed up to buy some when it arrives. I suspect it will not be the currently advertised 20 cents a round. It was supposed to be here in March, but I have not heard anything.

Yeah .40CPR is basically what I've been seeing it for. No reason not to just buy brass case at that price. It's gonna have to come way down for me to invest in a bulk order of it.New pricing from Target https://www.targetsportsusa.com/300-aac-blackout-ammo-c-969.aspx#Ma41|
At 40 cents a round I would not buy much. Just a small quantity to see how it shot in my guns.

The brass case seems to start at about 65 cents a round on ammo seek and I do not see wolf steel case mentioned at all. Reloading really seems the right way to go. the 2020 election campaigning is beginning. I am not optimistic for 300 blackout going down in price.Yeah .40CPR is basically what I've been seeing it for. You're not wrong bubba. I've been trying to hoard projectiles so I can work up some plinking loads. Also been working on some 30-06. I'd like to find one that works well in both my BO pistol and my 30-06, but I doubt I'll get that lucky with the 1-8 twist in my BO.The brass case seems to start at about 65 cents a round on ammo seek and I do not see wolf steel case mentioned at all. I've got a TON of 150s. I thought the 300 pistol didn't like the lower gn bullets which is why I never researched them. I'm still learning every day. A 1:10 rifle and a 1:8 pistol can fire the same projectile up to 150gns then? I was hoping to use strictly 150gn fmj for the 30-06 and sight it in for that round since I have a few hundred of them and they're readily available and won't break the bank. Are you saying to stick with a flat base to get more speed instead of using a bt? I just want something that will kill critters at 200 yards in the 30-06 and at 100 yards in the 300 pistol. What does the BO twist have to do with the compatibility between it and the '06 ??
Why would 110,120,or 130gr bullet not shoot good in both??
The Barnes 130's (TSX/TTSX) are great in both the BO and my 308Win. (1:7 --- 1:10)
Loading the BO,you just should stick with the flat base bullets for load density/velocity. And don't try to get the absolute fastest speed possible out of the '06.

A flat base bullet is shorter than a boat tail of the same wt. Means for longer bullets it will not protrude so much behind the case neck into the powder area of the case.I've got a TON of 150s.
