I tried SG this time. They have a great selection, and ok prices. The site was very easy to navigate, and there is free shipping over $200.
That's a good start.
I have been to Eglin recently. The ammo is tax free, but the prices and selection aren't great. I am still sticking with my 38, and 357 so the selection is limited just about anywhere I look. It is also challenging to find 20 guage buckshot.
I am getting back into shooting my home defense weapons at our local range. Most of my ammo was purchased in the 90s, and I am needing new ammo, as I use up the old.
I am looking for a good, reasonably priced, online supplier to purchase 38, 357, 20gu.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...
When I was younger, and into hunting, and gun collecting we had three basic classifications for 38, 357 store ammo.
Factory reloads, cheaper bullets (FMJ, semi-wadcutters), and expensive ammo (hollow points, "defense loads").
Now that I am taking more interest in shooting at our local range, I...
I can't think of any way to duplicate plastic injection mold stippling.
I've used a dremel to put jimping on an older knife. It worked fine, but looks sloppy.
The handles on the black bear, and smatchet have very fine stippling that create pretty good traction. The downward curve on the end of...
All three have been kept in a protective container since purchase. They have never been used, carried, or sharpened.
All have Cor-Ex nylon sheaths with belt loops, polypropylene handles, and baked on, rust resistant matte finishes. Cold Steel uses impact resistant carbon steel, not Chinese...
I purchased this all metal, 21"bayonet from a Army surplus store in the late 80s. I cant find any info on this.
The information on the opposite side of the blade has been ground off for some reason.
Any help identifying country of origin, and approximate age would be appreciated.
I am the original owner of both. Kept indoors in protective container. Never used, sharpened or carried.
Face to face sales only.
Condor Bushcraft Parang machete. Tough polypropylene green handle, carbon steel blade. This has a thick spine that does not flex on impact. Thick nylon sheath with...
I am getting ready to put a dc'd Condor Golak machete, and a Condor Bushcraft Parang up for sale. Both are unused, have sheaths, and boxes. Let me know if you are interested, and I will send you a message before I post these. Thanks.
As a history major I don't like these old statues/sculptures/artifacts being damaged in any way. I consider it art, and part of America's history.
I didn't know, or care who the bases I was stationed at, were named after.
We can discuss, and debate without hate.
All primary sources, need to be considered objectively.
I don't think we should thrust adult politics into our children's classrooms.
They don't understand, or care.
Of course there have always been history hacks, and non-historians using their interpretation of history for their political ends (secondary sources).
Your typical responsible/authentic Historian uses primary sources when conducting research, and speaking about particular events. That would...
