I purchased this all metal, 21"bayonet from a Army surplus store in the late 80s. I cant find any info on this.
The information on the opposite side of the blade has been ground off for some reason.
Any help identifying country of origin, and approximate age would be appreciated.

Argentine Mauser model 1891 bayonet, made under contract in Germany. Above is an example.

That was fast. The all metal handle is pretty rare which I thought would make it easier to ID.
    I apreciate your assistance!
They aren't totally rare, less than wood handle yes, about 50 on eBay right now, they sell average 100.00 in good cond. Yours looks excellent and may bring 150.00, if you had the leather frog
,(belt attachment) maybe a bit more.

Even though they fire their own obscure caliber, I'm the type to find a matching rifle, just to display them together.
Way back when I had my C&R and was big into less common Mausers, had 3 calvary carbines; Swedish, Spanish & Argentine. Then FR7s & FR8s, I was always looking for correct accessories, especially bayonets. My biggest unicorn was a walnut stocked Swiss K31 with serial #s matching bayonet!
