I took your advice and emailed Smith&Wesson. They said just send it in on their dime and they would let me know.
A couple weeks later I get a note that it's on its way back.
Arrived today. Everywhere that there was a chew mark, that part was replaced. New grip frame, trigger, even the chewed up...
I've had a couple squib rounds over the years. Each time I knew instantly that something was wrong. Fathertime, this is not a putdown, but I would love to know the story of how 5 rounds came to be stuck in that barrel.
Had a second generation P3AT. 1000 rounds and 2 trips to Florida and it still would not pass my personal carry test. Which is just 200 rounds in one session without a failure. Even my Taurusess's passed that test.
Have had a TCP but swore off the 380, and now 709 Slim 9mm. Was pleased to see a real improvement in Taurus. Wanted a PT111 but they sold out all over Houston at Christmas. I think this lawsuit settlement will decide if Taurus will survive in America. They have a long way to go in customer...
Seriously. Got a new Bodyguard 380 just before Christmas. Came with a nice soft case to carry it around in. That's where the trouble started. I also have a house load of dogs. The bad ones are half ? and half Husky. They are smart and much like 2 year olds. All had homes that fell through. I had...

I traded into a 1972 model 94. Thought I should have a "Western" style rifle. I'm a pistol guy. Compared to yours mine looks well used. No bluing on the action at all. Got a bit worried by the length of those 30.30 rounds. Popped off about 15 rounds and decided my shoulder is no longer up to...
From the Houston ares. Float here and there on the forums. Enjoy the experiences of others and their weapons.
Been a shooter since forever. Born on the Gulf Coast in Fort Walton Beach.
Looking forward to some good give and take.
