No, the one I recommended is the most reliable and best to use but as with any mechanical thing, well you know! It was cheap so I bought it, don't want to be unable to roll if I am out or something happens as i am rolling...being prepared!
Got this from Tobacco General: "It's not a surprise for many that government is trying to put an end on value pipe tobacco. There's a bill for raising tax on pipe tobacco similar to what was done to RYO tobacco in the past Tax increase for RYO has practically killed this type of tobacco and shifted the industry towards less rigorously taxed alternative labeled as pipe tobacco. The bill means that value pipe tobacco era may be coming to an end within a year or maybe even sooner."
If you have looked at the site you may notice a 5lb bag is like buying 4 on discount and getting a 5th free. This is what i am going to do. For storage I am going to vacuum seal even if I have to break the 5lbs in smaller packages, I may or may not add a moisture disk in the package. Looks like I will buy 10lbs a month until the tax day comes. Instead of $12 a pound this could go to $35 or more and drastically affect our savings...BE Prepared!
Thank you for the recommendation on the OHM. I just got my first shipment from Tobacco General. After experimenting on about 10 different brands looking for that perfect taste, smoothness, moisture, and cut, I found it with your recommendation
You bet! I have tried a couple of others, nothing compared to the OHM. I smoke an ultra light, the Silver is a little lite so I mix it w the blue equally...wish I could use just 1 blend but it is what it is! I am going to buy a pipe to try and see if around the house I can use that and not have to roll so many...LOL
FYI, I am storing my 10lbs of tobacco all mixed and ready to use in one of those large size bags you put sweaters in and vacuum down with your vacuum cleaner. Inside I put a medicine bottle filled with cotton balls and water so it will not drip out and many holes drilled in the lid. When vacuuming down do not take too much air out and turn it into a brick, just enough to get the extra air out or you will crush and break up the tobacco...I take about a carton of tobacco out at a time and reseal, checking the water and store in a cardboard box in a closet.
